Our Founder and Director, CJ, is the visionary force behind the tapestry of creativity that defines Nuu Muse Gallery and now Sims Contemporary. With a profound passion for art and an unwavering commitment to nurturing artistic talent, she is the guiding light illuminating our gallery’s path. Her unique blend of artistic insight and strategic leadership has transformed our gallery into a sanctuary of artistic expression, a testament to her unyielding dedication to the arts.

Atara Sragow, Associate Director, is drawn to art’s unique ability to express what can’t always be said out loud, creating moments of connection, understanding, and emotional resonance. She holds a BA in Studio Art from Stern College and a BFA in Design from ArtCenter College of Design. When she’s not at the gallery, Atara can be found immersed in her own studio practice or sharing her love of art through teaching.

Earned a B.F.A in Communication Design. Her ability to transform ideas into visually compelling narratives is nothing short of remarkable. Whether it's crafting captivating marketing materials, elegant user interfaces, or eye-catching branding elements, Mallory demonstrates an innate talent for visual storytelling.

Isabelle Levy is a photographer and artists’ assistant who is eager to share her love for contemporary art. She earned a B.F.A. in Photography and Museum Studies from SUNY Purchase where she explored the realms of abstraction within image making. As an artist herself, she brings a unique lens to the role of Gallery Assistant. Isabelle looks forward to conducting meaningful conversations with visitors of the gallery and creating a warm and welcoming environment.

Earned a B.F.A in Communication Design. With a sharp eye for detail and a keen sense of design aesthetics for our marketing materials, Macey brings a fresh burst of artistic energy to our creative crew. Her portfolio is a rich tapestry of visually captivating projects, where every pixel and line holds meaning and purpose.
