Your Vison
This opportunity is structured as a rent-per-day of the gallery space; however we are flexible in providing shorter or longer rentals. During that time, we provide full staffing, and promotional support. It’s a chance to present your work in a professionally run setting while retaining full creative control over your exhibition.
We look forward to working with professional, passionate artists who are ready to present their work in the heart of Chelsea, New York City.
Rental Details:
• Rental Fee: $4,000 per day
• Gallery Staff Provided: Tuesday through Sunday, 11 AM – 5 PM
• Special Late Night Opening: Thursday evening, 6 PM – 8 PM
• Wine, beverages, and printed materials (brochures, postcards, etc.) are the responsibility of the artist.
• A 3% credit card processing fee will be applied to all sales and is not covered by the gallery.
Deposits:
• A $2,000 nonrefundable deposit is due upon signing the rental contract. This will be applied toward the total rental fee.
• A $1,000 refundable damage deposit is required and will be returned within two weeks after the conclusion of the rental, provided no damages are incurred.
Proposal and Exhibition Requirements:
• Artists must submit a detailed exhibition proposal, including images of all works to be displayed and a general installation plan. This is to ensure the integrity and professional presentation of all exhibitions held at Sims Contemporary.
• All shipping and transportation costs are the responsibility of either the artist or the collector purchasing the work, not the gallery.
