Our Story

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Chelsea,

NY, Sims Contemporary’s mission is to collaborate with visionary artists while providing a platform that nurtures their creativity and propels their careers to new heights. We aspire to be a catalyst for one’s artistic evolution and help them achieve the recognition and success

they deserve through our unwavering commitment to artists.

We believe that art is more than just a visual object; it is a powerful conduit for dialogue, introspection, and transformation. Sims Contemporary embraces diversity

in all its forms and celebrates the kaleidoscope of perspectives that shape our world. From contemporary marvels

to timeless classics, each piece curated within our walls serves as a testament

to the endless possibilities of creativity.

Sims Contemporary emerged from our Dallas based gallery—Nuu Muse Contemporary. The decision to change the brand was to symbolize a fresh beginning as the gallery aims to establish itself as a dynamic player in the ever-evolving art scene of Manhattan. One of Nuu Muse Contemporary's defining features has been its dedication to promoting diverse talent in the art world. The gallery has been a platform for emerging artists looking to make their mark, mid-career artists seeking to reach a broader audience, and established artists with a track record of excellence. This tradition will continue as Sims Contemporary, but with even more vigor and enthusiasm in its new Manhattan location.

S.E.A: our online platform for emerging artists.
At Sims Contemporary we want to nurture and help emerging artists grow. We will have a new online exhibition quarterly that you will not want to miss! It is also a great opportunity as once a year we will select a few artists from the online exhibitions to be shown in our physical gallery in Chelsea, NY.
