Artist Statement and Bio
Colors drift and collide like light in motion, capturing shadows and emotions as they pass. My paintings are quiet thresholds—spaces where stillness, reflection, and escape can unfold. Across oil, ink, and lens, I search for the fleeting made visible, moments suspended long enough to be felt anew.
I am drawn to the tension between permanence and impermanence. A brushstroke can hold energy long after it is made, yet the feeling it conveys may be unstable, evolving, or even contradictory. Through layered color, scraping, and transparency, I seek to reveal what is concealed, to embody the unseen forces that shape us.
Ultimately, my practice is an attempt to make motion tangible, to hold on to the intangible pulse of human experience. Each painting is both an object and a record of rhythm—a field where color and emotion collide.

"My paintings are a vibrant homage to color, form, and texture. Each piece is a meditation on the intimate dialogue between art and sustainability. While acrylic on canvas is my primary medium, my sculptural roots inspire a bold exploration of shape and materials, resulting in works that blur the boundaries between painting and sculpture.
My passion for luxury craftmanship combined with my engagement to environment guided me to select meticulously material types in my work such as rhinestones, recycled glass or recycled Aluminum coffee capsules to name a few.
My work on materials requires precision along with meticulous attention to details like an artisan guild. So, very often I feel like being a stone-setter or ‘les petites mains’ literally translated from the French as ‘the little hands’ in Haute-couture designs, which was my childhood dream!
My art reflects a harmonious blend of creativity, positivity and commitment to the environment!”

Through this process, CJ seeks to capture the essence of creativity—unpredictable, complex, and endlessly evolving.

Jai Gervin
Artist Bio
I am a “creative visionary” with the soul of an artist & the heart of a Social Worker.
I was born, raised, and still live in Johnson City, TN. I believe that this small, typically conservative, town forced me to find alternative creative outlets even as a child. As I grew up, my artistic nature was not valued in my family, so I didn’t tap in to my creative side for many years. During the pandemic I began to desire to create again, this time as an adult with no rules or lines to color within. I find the most joy working with mixed media by combining ordinary things with other mediums that don’t traditionally “fit” together; much like myself. I have found great joy and healing via this avenue and am excited to be able to share it with folks that appreciate it and find their own joy through my lens.
I am also available to create commissioned pieces that fit within my genre.
Artist Statement
For me, art is both therapeutic and fascinating. I’ve always been intrigued in how two or more people can look at the same piece yet interpret it differently. You will find that my art is much deeper than the first glance. It reflects life experiences, inspirations, emotions and stories I have fabricated along the way. I tend to create pieces that are personal to me and relatable to others. I am no stranger to thinking outside of the box and creating art that sparks conversations. My art follows no rules. It is bold, vibrant, thought provoking, diverse, distorted and interesting. I create original one-time pieces that are never duplicated.

Mel Reese

Artist Statement
Artist Bio
Melanie Reese is an abstract formalist painter based in Brooklyn. Her work lives between the familiar and the intangible. Rooted in imagined landscapes, she traces the contours of land, body, and mind to conjure the ephemeral immediacy and precipitous nature of existing in today’s socio-political climate.
A reflection of the times we find ourselves in, these paintings tell a tale of the battle between progress and destruction. Each painting carries a beautiful fragility illuminated by a looming darkness; like at any moment the landscape might split open and swallow the viewer whole. Reese utilizes an array of painting and drawing media such as acrylic paint, caran d’ache,
and oil pigment sticks. Manipulation of each material creates a variety of textures, depths, and complex visual moments that combine to create a quiet yet ominous composition.
Her works are a complex dichotomy precariously poised between the human experience and our crumbling world, held together in search of beauty.
Reese (b. 1991) is an abstract formalist painter based in Brooklyn. She holds an MFA from
SVA and a BS from Skidmore College. She has completed Artist-in-Residencies at Vermont Studio Center, Elsewhere Studios, and JX Farms. Reese has recently shown in Affordable Art Fair NYC with Warnes Contemporary and will be at CONTEXT Art Fair Miami with Sims Contemporary. She has exhibited widely throughout the United States including Warnes Contemporary Gallery (Brooklyn, NY), Collar Works (Troy, NY), Deanna Evans Projects TROVE (online), and THE GALLERY by Odo (NYC) and has been featured in several publications including New American Paintings Northeast Issue 134, New American Painting Featured Artists, Inside Artists, Studio Visit Magazine, and New Visionary Magazine.

Sharon Pierce McCullough
Artist Statement and Bio
Sharon Pierce McCullough (b. 1943, Granite City, Illinois) is a visual artist engaged in a multidisciplinary practice that includes painting, drawing and sculpture. An ecologically conscious artist, her work is constantly evolving through experimentation. Her studio is in her stone home in Cashtown, PA.
McCullough's art practice attests to her experimental spirit as she explores colors, shapes and textures in many of her ongoing series of paintings and sculptures. Never static, her oeuvre demonstrates an artist constantly experimenting with possibility. Works vary to include geometric, minimal and figurative abstracts. Sculptures range from representational to conceptual.
McCullough works in an intuitive, yet intentional, manner, sometimes working from quick sketches but mostly not. "While I am inspired by painters such as Miro and Klee, I constantly strive to draw from my own inner creativity."
Taking cues from early Minimalism and Color Field painters, McCullough hones her multicolored palette on a continual basis. "The choice of each color in a painting is often a long process for me. It can be a defining choice that determines whether a work is good or great."
In the studio, Sharon toggles back and forth between paintings and sculpture. The paintings are created on canvas using acrylics, enamels and house paints. Her sculptures make use of divergent materials such as plaster, found objects and cement, recently adding textiles to the mix. She works in series with Horses and Geometric Abstracts being the predominant themes..
McCullough's original artwork has been exhibited in numerous museums and galleries in the country. Her collector base is international.

Rojo
Acrylic on canvas
36” x 36” x 1.5”
$5,500
Rojo is a minimalist, contemporary meditation on the horse, a form that has quietly influenced the core of my practice for as long as I can remember. This painting is part of an ongoing body of work devoted to the subtle power and elegance of the equine form.
The horse has been with me since childhood, a constant figure in my imagination and memory. Over time, its shape has become less about realism and more about essence a distilled silhouette, a whisper of motion, a symbol of freedom and strength.

Tetiana Hordiichuk

Artist Statement
Artist Bio
Tetiana Hordiichuk is a Ukrainian photographer born on October 29, 1991, in the Cherkasy region, Ukraine. She received higher education in Marketing and Project Management in Cherkasy. She began her photography journey in 2014 at the Kyiv School of Photography and has worked professionally in portrait and family photography since 2018. Her current work focuses on abstraction,
architecture, texture, and psychological portraiture.
In 2019, she returned to photography during a time of personal change. It
became her way to find inspiration and see the world differently — through light,
form, and emotion. In 2023, she began focusing on art photography, opening a
new stage of personal and creative growth.
Her photographic practice focuses on the exploration and transformation of
nature, reflection, architecture, the human body—in the visual language of
abstraction. She use light, shadow, color, reflection to shift the viewer’s attention
from what we see to how we see it. Color becomes emotion, and texture
becomes character.
I create art as a dialogue between the visible and the invisible — between what
we see and how we can see and what we feel.
Photography, for me, is not just about capturing an image but about perceiving
reality through emotion, silence, and transformation.
Light, color, and texture are the languages I use to express what cannot be
spoken — the fragile balance between chaos and harmony, vulnerability and
strength.

The “Ocean” Series
I enjoy creating art photography by transforming objects, elements, textures, and
shapes into abstraction. My goal is to create works that do not resemble specific
objects, but rather offer a new perspective on them - that is, what we see and
how we can see . Light, shadows, and the angle of photography play an
important role in this process. The “Ocean” series embodies this approach.
These are photos of a canyon, reinterpreted through a new vision that evokes the
ocean.
Each texture of the canyon represents the uniqueness of an individual to me. The
water, which flows endlessly, symbolizes movement, change, and growth. Just as
water shapes the canyon, every movement and choice we make shapes our
uniqueness.
