Created in the pauses between conversation and reconnection, Long Winded Story Teller is a gentle nod to the pleasure of catching up- where stories unfold slowly and no detail is too small to be shared.
This was my first time working with a plum background, a color I’ve always loved but had never used in this way. The painting developed in small intervals over the course of a week spent in George, South Africa, during a visit with friends we hadn’t seen in years.
